About the role

We are seeking a Chief Information Security Officer who is eager to lead and shape our long-term strategic agenda for information security and compliance. In this role, you’ll drive initiatives to enhance our security framework, lead training sessions for stakeholders, and serve as a trusted spokesperson in key customer meetings. As part of Consafe Logistics, an international company, you’ll regularly engage with both internal and external stakeholders across borders, reporting directly to the Head of IT & Security.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Strategic:

• Defining, developing and updating Information Security Management System according to ISO 27001

• Develop and maintain the information security policy with reviews, ensuring any gaps are identified and treated appropriately

• Represent the organization on information security matters, to internal and external stakeholders

• Promote a culture of safety, security, and compliance thoughout the organization.

Architectual:

• Lead the IT security architecture development, with high focus on cloud solutions.

• Provide guidance and technical expertise to the team to enforce defined security policies

• Evaluate, design, and implement new security hardware or software, assessing impact on the existing environment; provide expertise in security tool administration

• Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to ensure security compliance.

Operational:

• Ensure maintenance and compliance of company processes with process owners.

• Manage the security awareness training program, including education, testing, and reporting.

• Oversee technology upgrades and continuous vulnerability management in the security environment.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in Security Architecture capable of guiding the organization in implementing effective security solutions. You bring a structured proactive approach and a commitment to continuously improve our processes.

Experience & Skills:

• Strong understanding of IT risk management and cybersecurity technologies.

• Knowledge of information security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2).

• Proven experience as a Security Architect or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in security technologies such as XDR, CNAPP, SIEM, Firewall

• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and software development.

• Experience from working with Azure, MS Defender and Sentinel

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

This is a permanent, full-time role based at one of our office locations. Occasional travel is required.
