What you will be doing and your responsibilities
In this role, you will be part of our Asset Management domain, delivering fund and portfolio services to support the Investment Management division. This domain is undergoing an exciting transformation, driven by customer demand for excellent digital service and technological advancements. As a Cloud Solution Developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our business by providing critical insights to stakeholders while honing your skills in cutting-edge cloud technologies and modern development practices.
You will work closely with our cross-functional team, guiding and mentoring other developers through coaching, code reviews, and design decisions to ensure high-quality solutions. As part of a larger initiative, you will contribute to the development of a new cloud data warehouse, optimizing and supporting our business.
Additionally, you will:
- Develop and optimize integrations in tech and data platforms, using .NET-based microservices and cloud solutions.
- Ensure solutions adhere to regulatory and security standards, following SEB’s guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and other teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Lead the team’s development activities, assist with work breakdown, effort estimation, and guide the team in agile methodologies.
- Contribute to SEB’s digital transformation by driving technical development in line with our Target Architecture, ensuring scalability and adaptability.
- Participate in workshops and communities to share knowledge and promote good engineering practices.
- Stay updated on design patterns, technical trends, and enablers to continuously improve the technical environment.
Must have skills:
- At least 5 years of experience from working with modern technologies such as .NET, MS SQL, and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS) to develop scalable and sustainable solutions.
- Experience in cloud migration and data integration, including data warehouses like BigQuery.
- Proficiency with preferably Python
- Strong experience with public cloud solutions, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (e.g., BigQuery)
- Experience working with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions that drive key business outcomes, particularly in the context of fund and portfolio management.
- Familiar with API & Event-based architecture.
- Are fluent in English.
- Experience working in agile teams, ideally within frameworks such as SAFe.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience with container technologies like Kubernetes or OpenShift, or similar.
- Familiar with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD.
