ABOUT THE ROLE 

In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, ensuring comprehensive regression testing, and collaborating closely with QA analysts and developers to deliver high-quality software and hardware. You will also be responsible for using continuous integration to automate the integration of code changes and ensure that the integrated codebase is in a workable state. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

•  Design and Develop Automation Scripts: Create and maintain automated test scripts using open-source tools, including Jenkins.

• Bug Tracking and Documentation: Identify, record, and thoroughly document software bugs. Track their resolution.

• Regression Testing: Perform comprehensive regression testing when bugs are fixed.

• Requirements Review: Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.

• Continuous integration monitoring and statistics: Identify and eliminate inefficiencies.

• Test methodology and processes: Use best practices to ensure the application meets its intended purposes.

WHO ARE YOU?

To be successful in this role we believe that you have: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with Automation Tools, proficiency in tools like Selenium, Appium, or JUnit
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#
• Understanding of SDLC, familiarity with software development life cycle, testing methodologies and Atlassian

• Analytical with the ability to analyze requirements and design effective test cases
• Team player and able to collaborate with developers and other stakeholders 
• Technically interested
