Application Consultant WMS - Belgium

 

About the job

As an Application Consultant you will work on warehouse management system implementation projects helping our Benelux customers to transform their business and grow with the help of Astro WMS®. This role entails the following responsibilities:

  • Customer logistics and warehouse process investigation and analysis
  • Process and procedures gaps identification
  • Solutions design and documentation
  • Warehouse management system set up and configuration
  • Internal system testing and customer solution verification
  • Design integration with other systems and solutions
  • Working on warehouse automation solution
  • System go-live preparation and support


Job profile

We are specifically looking for Belgium employees. Both experienced warehouse management functional application experts as well as more junior candidates who have a passion and an interest in logistics and modern warehouse operations solutions. A perfect candidate enjoys dynamic and challenging environments, has the ability to solve complex customer problems, is interested to work with advanced IT systems and applications and likes working with agile project delivery methods.

To summarize, the ideal candidate profile would have:

  • A degree in Logistics, Engineering with an interest in IT, or an degree in IT and a willingness to learn supply chain business processes
  • Experience in systems and solutions implementation for the supply chain area, preferably regarding WMS
  • A analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Great communication skills and fluent in English. Dutch is preferred
  • “Creating customer value” as a focus in everything you do
