Lead Developer

About the job

As a Lead Developer at Consafe Logistics you will be responsible for one of the development teams. You will monitor the quality and the implementation of the different tasks that need to be executed. You will coordinate the process of more complex technical changes and estimate, design and develop small and medium sized software changes.

Our solutions are based on the following techniques and tooling: C / C++ / C# / .NET, XML/XSL, JSON, SQL (both on Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle), GIT/Gerrit.

In this role you have the following responsibilities:

• Steering your development team (appr. 4 -5 team members).
• Coaching of the junior software developers.
• Making estimations (technical analysis) for change requests based on time needed for design, development, internal tests, commissioning and go-live.
• Making technical designs for change requests on functional requirements. During this phase you will align with application consultants, system architects and customers when needed.
• Executing the development of changes and problem fixes.
• For more complex problems analyzing the problem and define a direction for the solution.

• A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience, preferably experience working with Supply Chain Management solutions or project based implementing software at customers.
• Great communication skills in English. Dutch is preferred but not an absolute necessity.
• Coaching skills.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
