About the role

We are now looking for a Software Manager to our office in Skovlunde who will be responsible for managing a team of Software Developers and System Architects and development projects in the supply chain field.

You will lead and drive the SW application development in collaboration with your colleagues and be an important part in securing our continued success in delivering world class supply chain solutions to our customers. The Software Manager will be participating in defining the technical roadmap for Astro WMS and defining the SW processes and tools.

The role will report to the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities:

• Owner of all customer specific development within the unit. This includes responsibility for maintaining efficient, robust and low cost customer applications as well as securing technical design that promotes re-use, co-development and standard development
• Secure all development activities to our customers
• Ensure your unit follows our software development process, continuously improve and maintaining an efficient work environment, tools and processes
• Building a high performing organization, coordinating and leading a team of highly skilled software developers and architects.
• Proactively working with the customers for planning and introducing new software generations, hardware requirements, code distribution and release handling
• Representing Consafe Logistics in steering groups towards our customers

Your background and experience

We are looking for an ambitious and engaging leader with a solid understanding of the software development cycle and project management. You have previous experience of leading people, driving change and are committed to deliver on your promise.

Moreover, you are a true network and relationship builder - you enjoy collaboration and to contribute with energy to the people around you.

Experience in overseeing and coordinating people and processes to deliver new software is an advantage. Experience of WMS/WCS, automation equipment or ERP systems is a merit.

You have a relevant University degree and speak English fluently.
