Job Mission 🚀

As Commercial Finance Analyst, you’ll sit within the CFO organisation and partner closely with the business to drive commercial excellence and long-term value creation. This role complements FP&A by taking financial insight out of spreadsheets and into real decisions - helping teams across Tibber understand what truly drives revenue, margin, and profitability.

In a fast-scaling, data-rich energy business, we need someone who is equally comfortable with numbers, ambiguity, and constructive challenge. This is a hands-on, business-facing role for someone who thrives at the intersection of analysis, strategy, and execution.

You’ll work closely with commercial, product, growth, and operations teams to improve pricing, investments, and performance - while collaborating with FP&A to ensure alignment between plans, forecasts, and commercial reality.

What you'll do ✅

• Partner with business leaders across Tibber as a trusted financial and commercial sparring partner

• Drive commercial and performance analysis across revenue, margin, unit economics, pricing, and profitability

• Support strategic initiatives and investments through financial modelling, scenario analysis, and business cases

• Challenge assumptions and highlight trade-offs to improve decision-making and outcomes

• Analyse performance by product, customer segment, market, or initiative to identify value drivers and risks

• Support pricing, discounting, and commercial structure decisions

• Track and evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives, ensuring accountability and learning

• Collaborate closely with FP&A to connect forecasts and plans with actionable commercial insights

• Contribute to building a strong finance business partnering culture across the organisation.

What we're looking for⚡

We believe you’re a curious and analytical problem-solver who enjoys being close to the business and influencing decisions. You’re driven by impact, comfortable with ambiguity, and motivated by turning insight into action rather than just reporting results. You likely bring:

• Background in FP&A, commercial finance, analytics, or consulting

• Strong financial modelling skills, with the ability to structure complex problems

• Experience in pricing, unit economics, or growth analysis

• A business-partnering mindset - confident challenging stakeholders constructively

• Comfort working with imperfect data in fast-moving environments

• Clear and pragmatic communication skills, especially with non-finance stakeholders

• A collaborative, proactive, and outcome-oriented approach

• Fluency in English

Experience in subscription-based, product-led, or multi-market businesses is a strong plus, as is exposure to pricing, unit economics, or growth-related analysis.
