Are you a strategic, hands-on engineering leader passionate about building powerful integrations and thriving ecosystems? At Telavox, integrations are a force multiplier, helping customers connect our PBX and communications platform with the tools they rely on every day.
Telavox is a fast-growing digital telco that combines the reliability of telecom with the agility of SaaS across Europe and the Middle East. Integrations are not just features; they empower customers and partners to innovate safely and at scale.
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Integrations and Ecosystem team, driving the technical strategy and execution behind our platforms, APIs, and tooling. This role focuses on enabling thousands of customer-built solutions rather than building a few in-house. Engineering Managers at Telavox define strategy, shape architecture, empower teams, and deliver real customer and commercial impact.
The role will be based at our new vibrant HQ in Malmö.
As Engineering Manager for Integrations & Ecosystem, you will lead the technical vision, roadmap, and delivery of Telavox’s integration platform. You will work closely with Product, Design, Commercial, and Engineering teams to ensure our integrations are secure, scalable, and high-quality, helping customers get the most value from our platform.
You will focus on building core integration tools, promoting an API-first approach, and growing our ecosystem through low-code/no-code solutions and the Telavox App Directory. You will also coach and grow a team of integration engineers, combining strategic leadership with hands-on technical work.
Your day-to-day work includes:
Focus on building tools that let customers solve problems themselves, rather than creating one-off solutions
Build and maintain high-quality integrations with platforms like Zendesk, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and HubSpot
Turn calls, transcripts, and metadata into triggers, workflows, and automated actions across customer systems
Lead API-first design so all features are available as well-documented, reliable APIs for external use
Design contact synchronization, object lookups, in-call data enrichment, and event-driven workflows
Code, prototype, and review architecture to ensure quality, scalability, and reliability
Coach and grow your team of engineers, helping them think about systems and long-term platform health
Maintain good development practices, including CI/CD, release management, and feedback loops from users
Be the technical expert across the company, helping other teams build APIs and services ready for integration
You will make Telavox a platform where conversations turn into action, enabling thousands of customer-built solutions and a growing ecosystem
You are a strategic yet hands-on engineering leader who enjoys working at the intersection of platform architecture, integrations, and customer enablement. You thrive in complex technical domains, align teams around a clear vision, and are passionate about building systems that scale through APIs, automation, and low-code/no-code tools.
You believe platforms beat features and understand how enablement scales better than bespoke delivery. You understand both the power and the risks of low-code/no-code platforms and know how to design safe extension points that empower non-developer users.
Key skills and experience we are looking for:
5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend services, APIs, event-driven systems, and complex integrations
2+ years in an engineering leadership or management role while remaining technically active
Deep hands-on experience with API design, microservices, integration middleware (e.g., RabbitMQ), and distributed systems
Experience with low-code/no-code and workflow automation platforms such as n8n or Zapier, understanding both the power and risks of LCNC platforms, and designing safe extension points
Strong empathy for non-developer users and a user-enablement mindset
Solid understanding of the CRM and Ticketing landscape including common lead/case management workflows and the typical "day-in-the-life" of a support or sales agent
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments (Kubernetes is a plus)
Proactive, structured, and motivated by building ecosystems that empower customers and partners to succeed
