Global Segment Specialist – Infrastructure

The role
As a Global Segment Specialist within the Infrastructure & Industry business area, you drive strategic segment development and support our global sales organization. By combining market insight, commercial understanding, and cross-functional collaboration, you help accelerate Roxtec’s growth in the rapidly expanding datacenter segment. You work closely with global sales teams, subsidiaries, and internal functions to develop strategies, share best practice, create tools, and provide insights that strengthen Roxtec’s position worldwide.

Today there are three segment specialists working for the infrastructure segment team. The datacenter segment is the fastest-growing area within BA I&I, and this role expands our team to further elevate the data center business together with the existing data center specialist and the global organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects and activities with the sales teams to ensure we work as a unified team and fully leverage our global knowledge
  • Share and create references and best practice to make sales teams more aware of business opportunities and effective sales tactics
  • Research markets on macro level to understand trends, investment plans, needs and other aspects to create strategies for sales growth
  • Identify and work with global project databases to support sales teams with insight about future investments
  • Drive segment and application knowledge in sales teams by creating segment sales training material, arranging and coordinating trainings and meetings, both face-to-face and remote
  • Create sales tools that resonate with the needs of customers and subsidiaries
  • Provide input and be a speaking partner for the sales, marketing and products team
  • Inspire and motivate sales teams by recognizing and engaging in their activities

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering and/or marketing is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience from sales, product management, business development, or similar roles
  • International experience and knowledge of the infrastructure market are advantageous
  • Ability to manage complex tasks and align diverse stakeholders toward common goal
  • Strong ability to create compelling sales and training presentations
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build networks across functions and geographies
  • Experience in market analysis and the ability to draw actionable conclusions from multiple sources
  • Financial understanding and ability to evaluate profitability and business impact

The position is based at our headquarters in Karlskrona. Business travel is part of the role.
