About the role

We are now strengthening our Group Product team with a new Product Manager that will be responsible for Automation, Warehouse Execution System (WES) and Integration. This role is key in securing our continued success in delivering world-class supply chain solutions to customers using logistics as a competitive advantage.

You will be responsible for leading, defining and executing the product strategy for integrating advanced automation technologies into warehouse operations. We want our product development process to become more agile, and you will play an important role in driving this transformation. This role requires a deep understanding of automation technologies, robotic controls and system integration to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in complex environments.

What you’ll be doing (or Key Responsibilities)

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and implement a product strategy and road-map for warehouse automation, WES, WCS, Digital Twin and integration aligned with company goals and industry trends.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for implementing advanced automation technologies (e.g. robotics, AS/RS, conveyors).
  • Requirements & Prioritization: Work with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, translating them into product features. Translate complex operational challenges into product requirements.
  • Product Development: Lead the development lifecycle for automation, WES , WCS, Digital Twin and Integration, guiding teams through agile processes to deliver quality solutions. Act as advisor for product owner and guiding the development team in agile development processes.
  • System Integration: Ensure smooth integration of automation technologies with WMS, WES, WCS, and ERP systems, as well as seamless communication between software and hardware components, including robotics, conveyors, sorters, and other automated equipment
  • Stakeholder Management and Communication: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate the product vision, strategy, road-map, and progress, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the product life-cycle, including go-to market strategies.
  • Innovation and Thought Leadership: Stay updated on trends in automation, robotics, IoT, and AI to identify opportunities for product enhancements. You will also represent the company at industry events to showcase our solutions. 

What you will bring 

We believe that the person we are looking for is a senior leader with experience from running a product and/or partner organization with focus on automation and integration. You will bring the following to the table:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience and extensive knowledge within automation, robotics, software development and integration, preferably within the logistics and warehouse industry.
  • Extensive experience in automation is an absolute requirement, with a proven track record of successfully managing the development and deployment of complex automation and integration solutions. Additionally, a strong understanding of system integration principles is essential.
  • Experience in product management and software development is also highly valued. 
  • Higher technical education/ university degree is preferred

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate operational requirements into detailed product strategies and development plans.
  • Proficient in agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in leading cross-functional teams through the product development process.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ambitious and driven mindset, with a strong business drive and a proven track record of delivering solid results in these fields.
