About the job 

As a Senior Software Engineer at Telavox, you’ll be at the core of delivering robust, scalable, and user-centric solutions. Your mission is to drive the adoption of strategic technical patterns and frameworks across our web platform, balancing technical innovation with practical business value. 

You’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and technical leaders to turn ideas into reality. You’ll lead by example, coding high-impact features, creating prototypes, guiding architectural discussions, and mentoring team members to achieve technical excellence. 

Your day-to-day work may include:

• Designing and implementing sustainable, future-proof front-end solutions using React

• Expanding and refining our API ecosystem using Java with Spring Boot

• Building a world-class technical platform

• Driving platform improvements by identifying opportunities for technical innovation and process optimization

• Collaborating closely with teammates to foster a learning culture through design discussions, solution reviews, and hands-on pairing

• Partnering with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions

About you

You’re a senior engineer who thrives on building exceptional products and driving development end-to-end. You’re versatile across both frontend and backend domains, and you take ownership of projects from conception to delivery. You’re motivated by turning ideas into tangible impact and enjoy solving complex technical challenges while mentoring and inspiring others. Writing clean, maintainable code is a given, and you actively shape best practices and architectural decisions. Collaboration, clear communication, and continuous learning are second nature, and you take pride in leading initiatives that move the team and product forward.

Key skills and experience we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer or similar using React

• Extensive experience in back-end development

• Experience in building containerized microservices in cloud-native environments (gRPC, Kubernetes, event-driven architecture)

• Strong communication skills—you’re comfortable presenting technical ideas and mentoring diverse engineering teams.

• A collaborative mindset, combined with curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to keep growing every day

Good-to-have skills:

• Previous experience working with communications solutions (especially telephony and video technologies)
