Software Test Engineer

We are looking to strengthen our R&D test team in Lund, Sweden, with a Software Test Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with Testers and Developers within R&D, both in Sweden and internationally.

About our product 

Astro WMS® is a market leading Warehouse Management System, “the brain of the warehouse”. Our R&D team at Consafe Logistics develops the core of the application that powers over 500 warehouses in 30 countries, helping deliver goods to millions of customers. As a software product company, we continuously evolve to meet new market demands and leverage emerging technologies, while maintaining flawless, mission-critical functionality for our customers 24/7/365.   

About the role 

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our R&D organization in Lund. As we continue to enhance the quality and reliability of our software, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from test planning to test execution, while actively improving the overall quality of our solutions.

You bring strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, enabling you to approach challenges efficiently and systematically. Your solid communication abilities help you collaborate effectively within the Agile, cross-functional team you're part of. In this role, you'll focus on ensuring the quality of core functionality through both manual and automated testing, with a particular emphasis on developing and maintaining automated test suites. 

To succeed in this role, the following are essential: 

• Proven experience in software quality assurance 

• Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes 

• Hands-on experience with test automation, preferably using Python, Robot Framework, or Playwright 

• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases 

Experience in the following areas is beneficial, but not required: 

• Agile team environments 

• Jira, GitHub, Jenkins 

• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
