Technical Account Manager

Step into the role

As a Technical Account Manager, you act as a technical expert and actively engage in business opportunities together with the Sales teams from an early stage of the opportunity cycle all the way through to delivery. The role requires a strong customer mindset and the ability to stay up to date with market developments through close collaboration across Sales, customers, key suppliers, and internal stakeholders within MilDef.

Location in the MilDef universe

This role is part of the Bid Office team within the Offering department in the MilDef Products Business Area and reports to the Head of Offering.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide technical advice throughout the sales cycle to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements and defined engineering constraints.

  • Develop validated technical quotations and supporting documentation aligned with customer specifications and internal targets.

  • Ensure compliance with documentation and quality requirements.

  • Take commercial responsibility for new concepts and customer development projects.

  • Act as a technical resource at customer meetings and industry exhibitions.

  • Capture customer feedback and contribute to feasibility assessments supporting concept development for future technical solutions.

What you bring

  • Proven experience in technical sales or a Technical Account Management role.

  • Deep technical knowledge on computer and network platforms.

  • A strong strategic and business-oriented mindset. 

  • Team player with problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to articulate technical issues in an understandable way.

  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is considered a merit if you have

  • Experience with military standards on both technical and quality requirements. 

  • A military background.
