Accounting Manager to Net Insight

We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager to lead our Accounting team with a focus on team support and collaboration. In this role, you will oversee accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings for our Swedish public listed entity and its global subsidiaries. At the heart of this position is a hands-on approach, working closely with the team to ensure the delivery of legal reporting and basic accounting tasks. Your responsibility will be to foster efficiency and maintain quality, all while ensuring compliance with regulations and establishing effective processes. We're looking for a hands-on manager who actively participates in the work, supporting their colleagues and contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes.

About the Team:

You will lead a close-knit team of 2 dedicated Accountants and 1 Payroll Specialist. Our team is known for its stability and dedication to excellence, while also embracing innovation in our dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Leadership: Lead the accounting operations and closing activities for both Swedish and international entities, in accordance with IFRS and local GAP.
• Team Management: Lead the team, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Project Accounting: Manage R&D project accounting, ensuring accurate recording of development expenditures and participating in the implementation of new revenue streams.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Foster communication with internal and external partners, managing relationships with accounting agencies globally.
• Audit: Manage the audit processes to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial operations.
• System Mastery: Act as a superuser for finance systems, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously enhance processes and advocate for improvements, aligning with company goals.
  

Your Experience:

• Experience in closing processes and meeting critical deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, with experience in accounting or audit.
• Leadership experience with a focus on team support and personnel management.
• Proficiency in English is essential; proficiency in Swedish is preferable.
