Functional safety in vehicles, industries, the transport sector, medical technology, etc. is becoming increasingly common as large systems become more autonomous with more advanced hardware and software. It is an incredibly exciting development that we see ahead of us with technology that will facilitate and make our everyday lives simpler. However, it places higher and higher demands on our systems that they are safe and that we can avoid human injury.

We are looking for someone…

Who have either already worked with safety-critical systems or have experience in electronics, quality, process development or perhaps all of the above. Perhaps you have previously worked in software development, testing or been a project manager? The most important thing for us is that you have an interest in a career within the functional safety area!

If you are a generalist or a specialist, enjoy hardware or software development, it is not imperative for success in the role as Functional Safety Consultant. We want you to be curious and interested in learning new things and support our customers with new solutions. As the area is relatively new for many of our customers, you need to have a strong drive and commitment in your daily work, and we are here to help you become an expert in the area!

If you have experience with any standards such as ISO 13849, ISO 26262, IEC 61508 or similar in safety-critical systems it would be an advantage, but it’s not a requirement.
