Head of Treasury

Born out of the belief that solar is one of the most powerful solutions to fixing energy and climate issues, it has been our goal to make renewable energy an easy and profitable investment. We contribute to our goal by installing solar panels as well as optimizing the energy consumption for our customers. To date, we have avoided over 3,84 million tonnes of CO2 emissions (which is equivalent to 15,9 billion km driven by a gasoline-powered car).

The role

As the Head of Treasury, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of treasury operations and financial risk management for the company. You will be instrumental in orchestrating financing transactions. Besides that you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our liquidity, managing financial assets and liabilities, ensuring compliance with covenants and other financial obligations as well as further developing the treasury function. The role is a part of the Group Finance function and will report to the CFO of Svea Solar, Christian. The position is based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Specifically, your role will include, but won't be limited to:

Strategic Planning. Develop treasury strategies aligned with financial objectives and streamline processes for efficiency.
Cash Management. Forecast, manage cash flows and optimize group cash position.
Capital Structure. Execute financing transactions and manage debt levels and costs.
Risk Mitigation. Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Insurance Oversight. Assess insurance needs and manage relationships with insurers.
Financial Reporting. Ensure accurate reporting of treasury activities.
Relationship Management. Manage banking relationships and foster collaboration internally.

5+ years of progressive experience in treasury management, with proven expertise in cash management, capital structure, and financial risk management.
A deep understanding of financial instruments and market trends.
Good communication and leadership abilities with the capability to collaborate across departments.
Excellent writing and communication skills in English
Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, treasury management systems).
Experience from international environments, and from business services, energy, or renewables, would be a plus, but not a requirement.
