We are looking for an inspirational Scrum Master for the Sub Custody Tribe to increase the pace in our agile journey and further develop SEB’s offering.
About the role
You will manage one of our agile teams working with SEB’s Nordic Sub Custody offering that serves our clients consisting of non-domestic banks, global custodians and international CSD’s with Settlement, Safekeeping and Asset Servicing to enable them to invest in Nordic securities. Cross collaboration and interaction with other SEB teams and stakeholders with focus on accuracy and timely delivery are the essence of our daily work. Your everyday work will have an international approach as the members of our Sub Custody Tribe are located in Stockholm and Riga.
To be successful in this position we believe you have previous experience from working as a Scrum Master and knowledge of the Sub Custody business and can assist in other roles in the delivery. As a person you have an agile mindset, are curious and have a willingness to constantly improve, develop and motivate others. You are driven, structured, have good communication skills and a willingness to build strong relationships and a collaborative atmosphere. You have experience with JIRA and Agile SAFe framework. We are seeking a candidate who embraces emerging technologies and is familiar with the principles of DevOps and how it can be used to enhance our development and deployment processes.
As a Scrum Master you will be responsible to:
- Manage, coach, guide and lead one of our agile teams
- Facilitate the sprint routines and help them to improve their way of working
- Work closely with the Product Owner and Chief Scrum Master in prioritizing, planning sprints, and supporting the estimation process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance communication and streamline delivery
- Contribute to the implementation of Tribe strategy
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- Previous Scrum Master experience
- Experience from Agile and Scrum work within SEB, including using Jira
- Experience from working with Custody and securities
- Knowledge of the Nordic Sub Custody business and solution
- Ability to coach, train and motivate others
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Strong analytical skills, structural thinking, and holistic process view
- Good understanding of agile software development process
- Experience of coordinating teams in complex environments
- Cloud experiences will be an advantage
