Account Manager – Pharma at Alflow Scandinavia A/S

At Alflow Scandinavia A/S, we are experiencing strong growth and positive development – therefore, we need you in our sales team, where you will be responsible for the sales of our core business, Pharma, to new and existing customers.

As an Account Manager, your most important tasks are to seek out new customers as well as service existing customers with the aim of advising and recommending the best technical solutions for the pharma and biotech industries in Denmark. Your role is to increase the sales of Alflow’s core products to known and new customers. You prioritize your time to build strategic relationships, identify new projects, and bring them to fruition in collaboration with the rest of the team at Alflow.

Your primary tasks:

  • Maintain and develop business with existing customers
  • Identify and create new customers in the Nordic countries
  • Schedule and conduct your own customer visits
  • Quote and follow ups
  • Negotiate prices and contracts with customers
  • Participate in the development of Alflow’s sales strategy
  • Budget planning and follow-up on activities and results
  • Participate in relevant exhibitions and supplier visits
  • In close collaboration with the Marketing team, you will organize and take the lead on Alflow’s pharma seminar.

Thus, you have direct responsibility for increasing sales in your own customer portfolio, and you are responsible from the first customer contact to the long customer relationship, where your customers can count on your support. Through your product knowledge and your ability to understand the customer's challenges, you help, in close collaboration with the rest of the team, the customer to reach the goal with the right solution for the task.

Experience or knowledge of the industry is not crucial, but it is important that you possess plenty of initiative and are eager to learn.

The person we are looking for:

  • Has a strong sales background and the desire to proactively drive sales
  • Has strong commercial competencies and knows good "merchantship"
  • Is a team player, as we work closely together across the organization
  • Has strong relationship-building skills
  • Is goal-oriented, proactive, performance-oriented, and self-driven
  • Can communicate fluently in Danish & English in writing and speech
  • Has a driving license category B

As a person, you are customer-focused, competitive-minded, and take pride in, as well as are motivated by, maintaining existing customers, acquiring new customers, and creating good relationships, both internally and with customers. You are passionate about great customer experiences and are not shy to go the extra mile.

If you have experience with flow equipment, or technical flair, it is an advantage, but definitely not a requirement.

Your place of residence is not decisive, and if you live on Zealand, you will be based from your home office, but we expect you to be at Alflow’s head office in Vejen as needed and preferably once a week.

You will furthermore have the possibility of a satellite office in Copenhagen.
