As the ECM business continues to grow, we are looking to expand the team with an Analyst to be able to take advantage of new opportunities.
SEB has the leading ECM franchise in the Nordic region, originating and executing transactions for our corporate and financial clients across our Home Markets in Europe and the US. The ECM acts as the link between the bank’s corporate clients and our institutional investor clients, both directly and through our sales force, in a wide range of transactions such as IPOs, accelerated placements, rights issues and private placements.
The role is based in the Stockholm office at Kungsträdgårdsgatan 8.
About the role:
As an analyst in the ECM team, you will support the team in equity market analysis, data analysis, and creating presentations for origination efforts, as well as assisting with ECM transaction execution. Early on, you will take on responsibility and have the chance to meet with corporate and institutional clients. The position includes working alongside experienced professionals based in Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki, Copenhagen, and London.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
· A recent university degree in Finance, Economics, Business administration, or a similar area with a strong numerical element
· 0-2 years of work experience within Investment Banking
· An analytical mindset and genuine interest in financial markets
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Swedish and English
· The capability to handle periods of intense workloads and manage multiple projects simultaneously
· An outgoing personality with the ambition to contribute to the team, take responsibility for your own projects, and develop trusted relationships
