Overview
We are seeking a highly driven Business Analyst with strong experience in stakeholder engagement, product development, and pre-sales support. This role is critical in shaping product direction by gathering, analyzing, and translating business needs into actionable technical requirements. The ideal candidate will also act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, sales teams, and technical teams to ensure seamless alignment and successful delivery of solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business needs into actionable requirements (BRDs, FRDs, User Stories).
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business goals.
- Define and manage value-driven product backlogs including Epics, Features, and User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria.
- Lead and facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to drive clarity, alignment, and decision-making.
- Independently manage and lead small to mid-sized projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope and timelines.
- Support key activities including roadmap planning, UAT, A/B Testing, training, competitive research, and post-implementation reviews.
- Assist in conducting technical evaluations, POCs, and assessments of tools or platforms.
- Collaborate closely with sales and solution teams during pre-sales to understand client needs and prepare tailored product demonstrations and proposals.
- Maintain strong documentation and process discipline using modern product and collaboration tools
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a reputed institute.
· 5–8 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst in software/product development environments.
· Proven expertise in stakeholder engagement, requirements elicitation, and detailed documentation (BRDs, FRDs, user stories).
· Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and basic knowledge of SQL.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
· Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
· Experience collaborating with system integrators or technology vendors across local and global projects.
Nice to Have:
- Working knowledge of the GRC domain.
- Exposure to pre-sales activities, client-facing roles, or solution consulting.
- Experience in SaaS or Enterprise B2B product environments.
- Certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or IIBA are a plus.
