About the Role

Snowborn is now looking for a Backend Game Developer who enjoys solving complex problems and writing clean, scalable .NET code. The role involves developing game servers from concept to release, working alongside a tight-knit team. Strong mathematical thinking is key, as much of the backend logic revolves around building and testing game mechanics and probability models.

The team works in agile two-week sprints with daily standups and regular demos. New hires are onboarded gradually, starting with debugging and moving into full project ownership within a few months.

Qualifications

• Master of Science and Engineering degree 
• High proficiency in Mathematics and analytical skills
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on .Net Development experience
• Full professional proficiency in English, in speech and writing

Additional Information

Type of employment: Hired directly by Snowborn Games. Full-time, permanent with 6 month probation period.
Start date: According to agreement, with consideration of notice period
Working hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 or 09:00-18:00
Location: Stockholm, Riddarholmen
Hybrid work: Office days are Tuesday OR Wednesday and Friday.
