Business Architect (Business Designer)

Joining the Global Incubation unit, you will be an integral part of our innovative journey to bring more life-saving innovation to mobility and society.

Working as a Business Architect in Global Incubation, you play a crucial role aligning business  and technology within an organization. Linking strategies, go-to-market potential and technology between the solution team and stakeholders. You will contribute to the Autoliv journey of impacting new and existing markets by understanding business opportunities, developing world class life saving solutions and services within the field of Mobility Safety Solutions and finally verifying their viability in the market.

As a member of an Agile Team, you are a professional with a "user centric & business development" mindset. Exploring, designing, developing & testing business models, Go-To-Market strategies and incubating the solutions into commercially scalable businesses.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Design, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in innovation & business design
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving & strategic thinking skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• Proficiency in business modeling & value propositions
• Strong strategic mindset for a holistic approach with capability to zoom in on details
• Well-versed in lean startup practices, tools, and methodologies – and experienced in using them to grow new businesses from zero to launch
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Proven ability to connect new businesses with their target audiences and drive growth through world-class go-to-market rollouts, digital marketing, and sales strategies

Preferred Skills and Experience

• MBA/master’s degree in a related field
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (hypothesis, inspect & adapt)
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and market trends
• Proven history of either own start-ups, incubators or with applied business crafting skills
• Experience with digital marketing and growth hacking is a merit
• Experience related to mobility, transportation, or safety industries is a merit
• Ownership mentality, leads by focusing on the big picture, as well as the day-to-day operations, to bridge the gap between product and business

What about the team?

We are building strong autonomous teams with mixed competences and focus. Each team consists of 5-9 individuals including a Product Owner and a Scrum Master. Most team members have several years of Autoliv experience from developing fantastic life-saving products with some individuals who are new to the family and bring valuable knowledge and skills from other areas. Each craft (role/skill) will have a “craft lead” and Oskar Lif is leading the Business Architects – developing and implementing tools and best practices globally within the specific craft.
