Business Area Coordinator & Communicator

Business Area Industrial & Engineering includes both technical trading companies and companies with proprietary products. The companies sell materials, products, tools and equipment primarily for the industrial and engineering sector.

The Indutrade Business Area Industrial & Engineering includes over 60 entrepreneurial companies within the Industrial and Engineering field. The companies are located in Scandinavia, Finland, UK, Germany and the Netherlands and can be both technical trading companies and companies with proprietary products. The companies sell industrial equipment, tools, filters, hydraulics, fasteners and chemical technology, among others, mainly to the general engineering and automotive industries. The Business Area has good organic growth and acquires several new companies each year.

About the role

In this position as Business Area Coordination & Communication for Industrial & Engineering, you will play an important role in supporting the Business Area Head and management team. You will support the Business Area in managing communication channels, creating both internal and external presentations, organizing and coordinating events and travels and other administrative tasks to ensure an efficient workflow in the internal processes within the Business Area.

The position will be stationed at Indutrade headquarters in Kista where there will be other colleagues with similar roles that can give support and create an expert network. As well as giving you a large international network both within the business area and across the Indutrade Group. The role responsibilities can vary from time to time depending on the needs within the business area.

Examples of areas of responsibility and tasks:

  • Manage internal communication flow with our portfolio companies and parent company Indutrade AB, and support in creating reports and presentations.
  • Serve as internal communications ambassador of the Indutrade Intranet (Portal) and LinkedIn, updating information, publishing news and job opportunities, and assisting the companies with various tasks related to the Indutrade Portal.
  • Book, plan, and participate in different conferences, meetings, venues, and other events within the business area and coordinate onboarding of new MDs and other key roles.
  • Act as a liaison between the Business Area Head and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for administrative functions related to business area management roles.

About you:

Ability to communicate and interact with people at all levels and create networks and relations. Proactive in the way of working and drives change and improvements. Willingness to get involved, assist, and support as and when needed. You have a high ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment where intensity and workload may vary.

Requirements

  • At least five years’ experience in a coordination or administrative role.
  • Experience in a truly international environment.
  • Background in working with communication management.
  • Working proficiency in Office- & Design programs and (e.g Adobe InDesign, Photoshop) and a good understanding of systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, structured and attentive to details, and experienced in establishing routines and structure as needed.
  • Good at driving own projects and working with different topics in parallel.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge in using social media.
  • Working proficiency in English and Swedish.
