Business Control & Planning Manager

The role

The Business Control & Planning Manager is responsible for leading business control, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis for the business area. The position plays a central role in the decision-making process, providing strategic insights and financial guidance to the management. The role’s responsibilities covers the entire value chain, from production to sales, working closely with the Business Area Director and the business.

The Business Control & Planning Manager, together with the management team, is responsible for setting the strategy process, business plan and ensuring a strong understanding of the business and the financial targets.

The role will lead a team of three central Supply Chain Planners. The Business Control & Planning Manager works closely with local controllers and group controlling. The role is member of the Business Area Dining Solutions management team.

Main tasks and responsibility:

• Ownership of the business planning and master forecasting process
• Process ownership for the overall planning process, “forecast to stock” from Commercial, Rexell, converting to stock
• Consolidate and report monthly results
• Lead and develop the team of central supply chain planners, ensuring continuous growth and alignment with business goals
• Tactical pricing strategy (driven by PIM/inflation)
• Operationally responsible for the optimization of delivery performance and inventory
• Continuous development of the planning process
• Ad hoc business controlling support to the Business Area
• Centrepoint for all improvement initiatives and replacement CAPEX
• Preparing the BA for the monthly consolidations and PGB meetings including Business Cases and CAPEX follow-up
• Owner of various monthly planning forums, i.e. supply chain checkpoint, site SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), SLOB (Slow Moving and Obsolete Inventory) follow-up, planning alignment with commercial

Who are you?

We are looking for an experienced analytical, business-oriented Controller Manager with a background in an international company. You have experience working in a complex environment and are able to understand the entire value chain. You have a strong business acumen, with the ability to lead, work independently and proactively drive improvements and dare to challenge status quo. In addition to this you have:

• Academic degree in Business Administration or comparable field
• Proven experience in business controlling, financial planning & financial analysis
• Experience from working with planning and supply is desirable
• Experience from working in a large international company, preferably within a manufacturing company
• Experience from leading teams are meriting. Strong team builder
• Strong knowledge in business system, Power BI and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
