Core Custody are looking for Cobol Developers with strong technical drive to join us on our exciting journey building mainframe and cloud integrations and services.
About the role
You will be a part of an agile team of highly motivated and creative colleagues that work in close collaboration with our product owners and business specialists. Cross collaboration and interaction with other teams within Technology with focus on our delivery is also a part of the daily work. The team’s main responsibility is to maintain and develop FANSY, SEB’s mainframe-based system for buying and selling financial instruments.
Who we are looking for
A person that is a senior COBOL developer with experience from the finance industry, preferably securities.
• Good knowledge in Mainframe environments e.g. COBOL, SQL, JCL, DB2, OPC, MQ and IMS.
• It’s also good if you have knowledge of/worked with DL1.
• It is an advantage if you also can work with .NET and/or GUI frameworks.
• Enjoys working in a complex environment and likes to solve problems.
• Likes to cooperate with other team members and share knowledge in the team.
• You are fluent in English spoken and written.
• Additional experience with .NET is a plus
