Commissioning Manager to Meva Energy AB

MEVA is a pioneering Swedish cleantech company that has developed a unique gasification technology designed for renewable energy production. This innovative technology utilizes small fraction fuels, such as biomass or residues from furniture production, to generate renewable energy directly at the local factory site. This solution is poised to make a substantial contribution to decarbonization for several compelling reasons: Replacement of Fossil Fuels, Industrial Waste Recycling and Carbon Negativity through Biochar.

We are now moving into a scale up phase of the company, based on the successful verification of our technology at the first commercial plant in Sweden and the progress on our second plant's delivery to Poland. To guide this growth, we are seeking a senior Commissioning Manager to join our project management team.

Your Role:

Overall responsibility for commissioning of future Meva Energy Plants worldwide – including:

• Maintaining a robust completion system, including all relevant documentation and systems.
• Implement commissioning strategy and procedures for each project.
• Manage the project commissioning process including scope and schedule.
• Manage resources in form of staff, consultants and subcontractors - as required to commission the plants.
• Effectively communicate progress of project scope, schedule and budget.
• Ensuring quality and safety standards in all commissioning activities.
• Maintaining detailed records and reporting on commissioning progress.
• Collaborating with project stakeholders for a smooth transition from commissioning to operation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company.

This role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful completion of future plant deliveries, aligning with our commitment to safety and timely deliveries.

Who are you:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field expertise.
• Proven experience in commissioning of complex energy projects.
• In-depth knowledge of commissioning procedures and industry standards.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English.

Proven experience from multi-discipline turn-key deliveries within the energy sector is an advantage. Client visits and on-site work on locations in Europe is part of the role.
