The recently established Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) function will further accelerate SEBs deployment of advanced financial crime prevention capabilities to continuously meet regulatory expectations and to become a leader in fighting financial crime.
As such we are establishing a Data Management team within FCP to grow these capabilities and we are now looking for a Data Management Officer to join the team.
About the Role:
As a Data Management Officer within the Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) division, you will be instrumental in driving our initiatives aimed at transforming our organization into a data-driven powerhouse. In this pivotal role, you will design and implement a comprehensive data quality framework that prioritizes stakeholder needs and ensures the robustness of the data essential for our business processes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Managing key initiatives under the FCP Data Program which aims to accelerate the division's ability to become a Data driven business.
· Design and implement a data quality framework, focusing on the stakeholder needs, to support the quality and robustness of the data needed for business processes.
· Ensure adherence, adoption, and continuous improvement of data policies, standards, and practices across FCP.
· Provide expertise to various areas of FCP in accessing FCP critical data from data producers and help resolve data integrity issues.
· Collaborate with the Systems and IT teams to design and implement effective data quality rules.
· Provide guidance to the data producers on how to monitor the quality of data like Transaction monitoring, Know your customer (KYC), Sanctions, Screening, and Fraud.
· Drive data governance communication initiatives about data quality, to raise the profile of the data governance and secure business engagement.
· Ensure close collaboration between the Data Governance team with the FCP critical Business functions and Group Data Management Office (GDMO), as well as with the IT function.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- Extensive experience in Data Management as a Data Quality expert, with a solid understanding of data governance key elements and monitoring quality across various dimensions.
- Proficiency in data quality tools, for example, those built in Python, Collibra DQ, or Excel, and a strong background in implementing data quality monitoring programs.
- An analytical mindset to understand potential data incidents and devise remediation plans in collaboration with data producers.
- Knowledge of Financial Crime Prevention is beneficial
