Engineering Manager Stockholm

Are you a driven engineering leader with a knack for tackling challenges and creating value for customers? We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Resurs Engineering team in Stockholm. In this position, you will guide one of our Shared Services engineering teams, empowering your members, encouraging teamwork, and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative and reliable solutions.

Get an idea of the role

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and be responsible for the Resurs eID engineering team, driving the development and maintenance of authentication and digital signing solutions that ensure secure and seamless customer experiences.

The focus of the role will be:

• Lead and support the team to deliver on the objectives and key results, product roadmap and strategy.

• Ensure that the team operates in an efficient way when developing and operating the product.

• Responsible for the life cycle management of the product.

• Responsible for the budget of the team.

• Apply leadership by coaching and mentoring team members to achieve the highest possible motivation and engagement.

• Building and sustaining collaborative relationships across teams and encourage a culture of shared knowledge and continuous learning.
  

On a personal level

We believe that you have a relevant educational background and proven experience in an engineering management role and a good understanding of technologies and systems to be able to coach the team. In addition, the following characteristics are desirable.

• Strong technical background and problem-solving skills.

• Strong emphasis on leadership and competence development.

• Banking domain knowledge is a strong plus.

• Knowledge and tangible experience of Agile and DevOps methodologies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good communication skills in English and Swedish.

• Experience in building apps is considered a strong asset.
