About the role:
We are now looking for an Engineering Manager for the area Offer & Traditional Insurance part of the Product & Agreement Tribe. Products & Agreement is responsible for developing and managing SEB´s Life & Pensions products and to secure that our offerings are attractive, competitive and ensures a good customer experience throughout all life stages.

The Offer & Traditional Insurance area consists of 16 employees and consultants. Most are developers but also Scrum-masters and Support staff.
As an Engineering Manager you will be responsible for:
· Driving the software development and Life Cycle Management forward together with your employees and colleagues cross-functional
· Securing stable operation of the maintained solutions
· Capacity and delivery planning for the teams, ensuring that the right competencies and skills are in place.
· Driving Reliable and Optimized operation within the domain
· Collaborate with Product Owners and business representatives to secure the correct focus and scope of the team’s work.
· Driving change initiatives as part of the business plan and promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
· Take responsibility for the IT-contracts relevant to your area, with support from legal and vendor management.
To thrive in this role, we believe you:
· Have several year's managerial experience, within the tech area leading developers and other technical specialist.
· Have a good knowledge of the ITIL-processes
· Have experience from change management, contract management, budgeting and planning.
· Have strong communication skills and you are fluent in both Swedish and English.
· Academic background within Computer Science, Data, engineering or equivalent
· Beneficial with experience from life and insurance products
· Experience from managing teams working in mainframe environment is advantagues but not required.
