Ahlsell, a leader in the field of technical trade, is now seeking a Full Stack Developer. At Ahlsell, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our digital platforms and ensuring a seamless online experience for our customers and internal staff. This role entails the development and maintenance of our software solutions, bridging the gap between front-end and back-end technologies to deliver cohesive and efficient digital platforms.

Who are you?

To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record in full stack development, particularly within e-commerce and digital B2B environments. You are an excellent communicator with experience working in cross-functional teams, capable of conveying technical concepts and solutions in a business-friendly manner.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software solutions that are robust, scalable, and provide an outstanding user experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the solutions developed meet the business and customer needs.
• Work across the full stack, from front-end user interfaces to back-end server-side logic, databases, and integrations.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of our digital platforms, optimizing front-end elements for maximum speed and efficiency.
• Integrate with third-party services and tools to enhance platform functionality, such as CRM systems, ERP systems and product information management (PIM) systems.
• Support other engineering teams by mentoring and involvement, ensuring the realization of architecture and design.
• Drive innovation to enhance our online experience and digital transformation initiatives.
• Engage as a subject matter expert with both business and technology teams.

We hope you have:

• Proven experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms and digital solutions.
• Experience with developing and managing streaming data systems and solutions to handle real-time interactions and transactions.
• Proven experience in developing cloud-native applications and event-driven systems.
• Experience with Agile development practices and iterative design methodologies.
• A background in building and maintaining APIs (e.g., SOAP/REST/GraphQL) for seamless integration with other services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze requirements to create robust solutions.

 Location and Position Details:

• This role can be carried out from an Ahlsell office location in any of our locations within Sweden, Norway and Finland or remotely, working from home.
• This is a permanent, full-time position.
