Business Banking is a prioritized business area for SEB within the Mid Corporate space, where we hold a solid market share and the strongest brand in the Swedish market. Business Banking Sweden oversees SEB’s risk, profitability, and relationships for a portfolio of mid-sized customers across the Corporate, Public and Real Estate segments. Our goal is to achieve the highest customer satisfaction over time. Currently, we are rated number 2 according to the customer satisfaction survey, Prospera.
Overall, the corporate segment covers various industries and in addition to corporate clients the unit is also managing a real estate portfolio. SEB has a clear ambition to continue growing both with existing clients and through onboarding of new targeted companies.
SEB Business Banking is managed through a geographically based customer portfolio, with local managers who combine their leadership roles with driving business and actively engaging in customer relationships.
About the Role
As the Head of Business Banking Gothenburg and Malmö, you will lead the Client Teams, with Client Executives reporting directly to you. Your responsibilities include strengthening existing and future customer relationships, developing our ways of working, and harmonizing efforts across geographies to implement best practices and enhance collaboration. Additionally, you will focus on strengthening our expertise in areas such as industry competence, sustainability, risk, pricing and credit structures.
Rewarding relationships are at the core of what we are. Consequently, you will relentlessly focus on developing our customer relationships through cross-collaboration within SEB and strategic foresight.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire and manage the Gothenburg and Malmö team as well as coach your direct reporting employees
- Implement and optimize Business Banking Sweden’s strategy and business development
- Oversee financial performance, including forecasts and target setting
- Drive prospecting and customer activities
- Execute local plans for proactive customer engagement, relationship development, and customer ratings improvement
- Manage and refine your own customer portfolio
- Represent SEB in local networks in Gothenburg and Malmö, both within SEB and in the external market

As Head of Business Banking Gothenburg and Malmö, you are expected to create the best conditions to deliver on Business Banking Sweden’s business plan, KPIs, and strategic initiatives. You will report to the Head of Business Banking Sweden. This role is based in Gothenburg.
