The Role
As Head of EPC, you will be part of the Utility Executive Management Team and lead the EPC organization across Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, and Site Operations.
You will ensure efficient delivery of large-scale solar projects through strong planning, cost control, risk management, and technical compliance.
Your leadership will drive process excellence, supplier performance, and scalable execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead an organization of currently 15 FTE across Engineering, Project Management, Site Operations, and Procurement.
- Develop and execute the Annual Business Plan aligned with company objectives.
- Establish and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational excellence.
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and supplier movements to identify opportunities and optimize cost, quality, and effectiveness.
- Lead EPC teams to deliver projects efficiently, ensuring risk management, budget control, and high-quality execution.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to standards, QA/QC routines, and best practices.
- Oversee procurement strategies to maintain competitiveness and staying close to technical developments in the industry.
- Foster a strong Health and Safety culture.
- Hold P&L responsibility for the EPC function as a core member of the Utility Executive Management Team.
Required Skills
- Over 10 years of strategic leadership experience in the solar industry and good knowledge of BESS.
- In-depth understanding of sector dynamics, market drivers, trends, and regulations.
- Proven track record managing teams of highly skilled professionals.
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Renewables) or equivalent experience.
- Strong English; Swedish fluency is a plus.
- Experience from an established solar IPP, knowing “what excellent looks like.”
