Innovative Industrial Designer Wanted for Exciting LED Lighting Project

Duni, a leader in table setting and ambience solutions for the HORECA industry (Hotel, Restaurant and Café/Catering), is seeking a talented Industrial Designer for a cutting-edge assignment to revolutionize our LED lighting assortment.

Project Overview

As a design collaboration partner within industrial design, you will be tasked with designing and creating an innovative range of LED lighting solutions that enhance ambience in hospitality settings. Your designs will encompass cordless lamps, candle holders, and potential new lighting concepts for our B2B customers and professional users within the HORECA industry. The assignment will start Q1 2025 and will involve a few collaborative meetings with the Duni Lighting team at our headquarters in Malmö.

Assignment Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design a cohesive range of LED lighting products and accessories
• Based on our existing technical solution and base-concept design innovative lighting solutions that prioritize efficiency, practicality, and aesthetic appeal
• Ensure designs align with Duni's commitment to sustainability and eco-conscious materials as well as Duni design strategy
• Collaborate with our team to optimize designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness all while delivering excellent customer value though stylish designs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field
• Proven experience in designing lighting products or other similar interior design products
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and emerging eco design directives
• Excellent sketching and visualization skills
• Proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling
• Knowledge of HORECA industry trends and requirements is a plus
