ABOUT THE ROLE

As IT Application Specialist at Linde Gas you will be responsible for two platforms. Your work tasks will include: 

• Provide 2^nd line support in conjunction with application owners.
• Undertake required maintenance activities for your platforms.
• Define and enforce development guidelines for the platforms.
• Manage development enhancements once approved.
  
• Ensure all new applications are registered in the application portfolio and undertake a service transition review before they go live.
• Ensure suitable knowledge transfer is undertaken for applications developed with external partners. 

WHO ARE YOU?

To be successful in this role we believe that you are/have: 

• A relevant post-secondary education within IT
• Minimum 2 years experince in application development 
• Experience in managing IT development/enhancement, preferable related to SAP
• A wide understanding of IT technologies, preferable including Java, JavaScript and/or Azure
• Fluent in English, both verbally and written. Swedish knowledge is benefical. 

But most importantly we believe that you are/have: 

• Able to work independently in a virtual organisation and to take responsibility of your tasks.
• A good cooperation and communication with internal customers, peers and suppliers. 
• A structured approach to tasks and positive attitude.
