About the role
We’re looking for a talented Developer to join the Shared Platforms Team and work on TBricks ID (TBID), a core system that supports SEB’s fixed-income operations and handles over 100 million price updates daily. TBID integrates with external market data providers like Nasdaq OMX, Bloomberg, and Reuters, and connects front-end and back-end systems across the bank.
In this role, you’ll:
- Develop and customize TBricks applications to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with users to understand technical and functional requirements.
- Improve processes for safer, more efficient deployments.
- Support critical cases and deliver high-quality solutions alongside the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and team.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have
- Knowledge of the TBricks trading system and experience with tools like GitHub and Jenkins.
- A development background in Java or exposure to programming.
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows OS, databases, and Visual Studio.
- Experience in client-facing technical support or implementation/delivery roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes and deliver pragmatic solutions.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and written
It’s also considered meritorious if you have:
- Knowledge of C++.
- Familiarity with financial systems such as front-office platforms, market connectivity, or fixed-income trading systems.
- Experience with market data providers like Bloomberg, Reuters, or Nasdaq OMX.
