About the role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Land Use Manager to join our Corporate Real Estate (CRE) team at Fortum. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new land areas and properties in Sweden for clean energy production and industrial electrification use. Your key assignments will include driving negotiations with authorities, carrying out real estate transactions and agreements, and supporting our business in land use negotiations with various stakeholders. You will also participate as a real estate representative in M&A projects. This versatile role will be tailored to your skills and experience, offering you the opportunity to manage land use development, contract management, and transactions, as well as coordinate and lead detailed planning processes. You will be part of a collaborative team that manages Fortum’s land use and real estate properties, providing support to our business lines in real estate-related tasks. This role offers a diverse work environment and a meaningful position in a Fortum's commitment to developing a cleaner future for all of us.
About you
We are seeking a land use professional with 5-10 years of experience in the field of land use and real estate. You preferably have a bachelor's degree in land use or real estate engineering. It is vital that you possess strong English and Swedish skills, as you will be part of an international team as well as handling negotiations with authorities on legislations. You should be bold in taking on new challenges, able to act independently and persistently, capable of prioritizing your work effectively. Honest communication and interaction skills are essential for succeeding in this role, as you will be working with different units across the organisation. An open attitude and positive energy are important for connecting with landowners and municipalities.
Key qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in land use and real estate engineering
Experience in the field of land use within Sweden – know how within zoning agreements, legislation etc.
Honest communication and interaction skills in booth Swedish and English
Result-oriented mindset to negotiate and sign contracts
Willingness to travel within Sweden
