We are now looking for a curious, hands-on, data-driven and experienced Marketing Automation Specialist to play a key role in driving customer growth and retention. As the owner of our marketing automation platform, Braze, you will design, build and optimize scalable customer journeys and campaigns across the full lifecycle, from onboarding to winback, ensuring every listener gets the right message, in the right channel, at the right time.
Working at the intersection of marketing, data and product, you will collaborate closely with central and local teams to turn lifecycle strategy into measurable results. You will combine technical expertise with a commercial mindset to build a customer-centric marketing automation ecosystem that supports long-term growth. You will be a part of the central marketing team, reporting to Sara Gustavsson who is the CMO.
Key responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and continuous optimization of automated customer journeys and campaigns in Braze across all lifecycle stages
Develop and maintain audience segmentation, targeting logic and content infrastructure
Monitor campaign delivery, system performance and lifecycle KPIs to ensure continuous improvement
Evolve the Braze data model in collaboration with Data Engineering, including defining new data needs
Collaborate closely with local markets to plan and execute content-driven campaigns
Establish and improve reporting, follow-up processes and performance tracking
Support data governance efforts, including suppression logic, GDPR compliance and audience hygiene.
Maintain a clean, well-documented Braze setup with clear naming conventions and scalable processes that support compliance and collaboration.
Serve as Podme’s Braze platform owner, ensuring alignment with Schibsted’s centralized Braze product team
Own the relationship with external Braze/data colleagues or consultants. Scope work, ensure quality, and follow up on delivery
Stay up to date with industry trends and pursue continuous learning through Braze Academy, certifications and product release updates, sharing key learnings with the team to strengthen platform expertise and innovation.

You combine analytical thinking with technical skills, and enjoy building use cases that drive growth through great content, smart data and multi-channel automation. Collaboration and teamwork come naturally to you as well as the idea that the best results happen when everyone helps each other win. We believe that you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Technology or a related field
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign). Experience with Braze is a big plus.
Strong technical understanding of events, attributes, APIs, and data flows.
Ability to create and tailor content (copy, visuals etc) for more personalized customer communication
General understanding of customer segmentation, targeting and personalization strategies across multi-channel environments
Familiarity with SQL for segmentation analysis and data validation is a big plus.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with tech, data, and marketing teams
Problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
