Master’s Thesis Work at Ovako Each fall semester, Ovako publishes its available Master’s thesis projects during August and September of the previous year. Interviews are then conducted continuously throughout October, and by November most Master’s theses are usually filled. If you missed applying for one of our advertised Master’s theses, or if you have your own idea you would like to present, you are always welcome to submit an open application. Read more here. Our doors are always open to those who want to write their Master’s Thesis with us – with or without their own idea. Who are we looking for? We primarily seek Master of Science engineering students in materials science/metallurgy, mechanical engineering, process engineering, industrial management, automation, and energy/environment. But! We also welcome students with other technical or scientific backgrounds—what matters most is your interest and your willingness to contribute.
