About the role:
As a Process Owner within Civil Defence, your responsibilities will focus on establishing and maintaining governance structures, supporting strategy execution, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements related to operational resilience and civil defence. You will be instrumental in building the Civil Defence function from the ground up.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the execution of SEB’s Civil Defence strategy, working closely with the Head of Civil Defence to ensure alignment with the bank’s overarching operational resilience initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks, guiding documentation, and reporting processes, continuously updating them in line with emerging threats and regulatory developments.
  • Build and maintain a knowledge hub for civil defence planning, providing advice, templates, and support across the organisation.
  • Collect, analyse, and report on performance metrics for civil defence initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Represent SEB’s civil defence initiatives in internal and external forums when delegated by the Head of Civil Defence, ensuring accurate communication and effective collaboration.

To thrive in this role, we believe you:

  • Are a driven and structured professional with a genuine interest in operational resilience and civil defence. Ideally, you also have experience in civil defence planning, operational resilience, business continuity management, or a related field.
  • Have strong skills in writing, developing, and maintaining governance frameworks and guidance materials.
  • Have experience in creating educational and informational materials tailored to different target groups.
  • Have a background in data collection, analysis, and performance metric evaluation.
  • Have an analytical and strategic mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to work independently with a high sense of responsibility, delivering high-quality results on time.
  • Have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
  • Have strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach to working across organisational boundaries and with external partners.

What we offer:

  • This is an opportunity to be part of an important and exciting journey – helping shape SEB’s approach to civil defence and operational resilience from the ground up.
  • You will work in a dynamic, highly professional environment where your contributions will have a lasting impact on SEB’s preparedness for future challenges.
  • Opportunities for continuous learning, professional development, and career growth.
  • A chance to collaborate with teams across divisions and geographies, contributing to the enhancement of SEB’s risk management capabilities.
