About the Role 

This role will particularly focus on the development and management of trays and films within our Duniform concept. You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager responsible for our machines to ensure seamless integration across all aspects of the concept. Together, you will provide tailored solutions for customers ranging from local delis to industrial-scale HMR companies. 

As a Product Manager within our business area Food Packaging Solutions, you will play a critical role in developing and securing an attractive, relevant, and profitable assortment. Your mission will be to understand customer needs, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities and threats to create exceptional value for our customers. This position focuses on innovation, growth, and strategic development, offering you the chance to shape both your role and our category’s success. 

Your responsibiities include, but are not limited to 

• Lead product lifecycle management, ensuring our portfolio remains competitive and innovative.  

• Develop and implement category plans and product roadmaps aligned with our strategic goals. 

• Conduct thorough analysis of market insights, including trends, competition, materials, and customer needs. 

• Act as the product expert internally and represent the category in cross-functional and external forums, showcasing leadership and expertise.  

• Collaborate with marketing to ensure that the communication material and message are correct 

• Track, analyze, and evaluate category performance to inform future strategies. 

Who are you?

You should have a can-do attitude and excel in fast-paced settings where agility is key. Success in this role requires you to make confident decisions, experiment with new approaches, and adapt as needed. 

To succeed in this role, we believe you have: 

• A BA/BSc degree in business, science, marketing, or a related field. 
• Experience in product portfolio management, innovation, or product development. 
• Knowledge of technical aspects related to packaging materials, equipment, technologies, or similar products. 
• Strong expertise in packaging materials, especially for food applications, or a willingness to learn and apply this knowledge. 
• An understanding of sales processes, particularly in the context of sustainable packaging solutions, would be an advantage. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. 
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, as you will be working in an international environment. 

In this role you should combine strong analytical skills with a passion for solving consumer and business challenges, while demonstrating excellent collaboration skills to prioritize team goals and build strong stakeholder relationships.
