Product Owner - ServiceNow Configuration Management Database

Your role

As the Product Owner for ServiceNow CMDB, you’ll take ownership of the vision and roadmap, ensuring the CMDB becomes the single source of truth for configuration data across our enterprise. You’ll collaborate with Process Owners, Data Architects, the Automation team, and other key stakeholders to turn business needs into a clear product strategy and deliver continuous value.

Your Responsibilities

Define and maintain the CMDB product vision and roadmap, aligned with enterprise architecture and business goals.
Gather and prioritize requirements from multiple stakeholders, ensuring compliance with ITIL processes and data governance standards.
Work closely with the Configuration Management Process Owner to drive process excellence and compliance.
Partner with the Data Architect to align CMDB structures with the enterprise data model and integration patterns.
Champion out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities, minimizing customizations while maximizing business value.
Act as the customer voice in agile ceremonies, ensuring backlog channel deliver measurable outcomes.
Monitor product performance and continuously improve data quality, automation potential, and user experience.

Who are you?

You have a strong background in enterprise IT and thrive in dynamic environments. Ideally, you bring:

Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in enterprise IT settings.
Deep knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB and CSDM.
Understanding of ITIL Configuration Management principles.
Familiarity with data modeling, integration patterns, and enterprise architecture concepts.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Passion for data-driven automation and digital transformation.
