Project Manager - Dubai

Consat Telematics is a leading Swedish tech company specializing in intelligent IT solutions for public transport and smart mobility. We work closely with public transport authorities, operators, and cities in a complex and mission-critical B2B environment.

We are looking for a structured and driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of our telematics solutions. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, translate customer needs into development and implementation activities, and ensure that our technology is successfully delivered to customers.

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you translate customer needs into clearly defined development and implementation tasks and ensure their successful delivery. Acting as the link between Customers and Product & R&D teams, you ensure that requirements are well documented and efficiently executed.

You will collaborate closely with developers, technical teams, and customer stakeholders to support the implementation of hardware and software solutions tailored to customer needs. The role includes coordinating technical planning, aligning requirements, and interacting directly with customers.

You will also contribute to development planning, workload forecasting and the continuous improvement of our telematics solutions.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Regular travel may be required for customer meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate customer telematics projects from planning to delivery

• Translate customer requirements into structured development and implementation tasks

• Support implementation planning of hardware and software solutions

• Ensure proper documentation of requirements, configurations, and project progress

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Technical teams, and Customer stakeholders

• Monitor and update project progress

• Conduct regular project meetings with the costumer

• Identify improvements

Qualifications

• Experience as a technical Project Manager within the telematics or public transportation industry

• Experience working in cross-functional product development environments

• Experience in working in a agile environment

• Ability to participate in technical discussions and translate complex requirements into structured plans

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Structured, analytical, and value-driven approach to problem solving

• Degree in Project Management, Engineering or a related technical field

• Should have at least one certification (Ex. Prince 2, PMP)

• Fluent in English; Arabic is considered an advantage

• Background in software development or engineering is a plus
