Quantitative Analyst to the IFRS 9 team | SEB, Stockholm

We are looking for a Quantitative Analyst to join the Expected Credit Loss (ECL) team within Credit Risk, with a primary focus on IFRS 9 model development.

About the role
In this role, you will contribute directly to the development and refinement of the Bank’s expected credit loss models. You will combine quantitative analysis with hands-on model development and tooling.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain IFRS 9 ECL models and methodologies
  • Analyse model performance and support calibration, including overlays
  • Build analytical tools and data solutions
  • Support integration of models into reporting processes
     

To thrive in this role, we believe you have

  • Experience in credit risk modelling / IFRS 9 / ECL
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skillset with a focus on model development
  • Structured, proactive, and delivery-oriented - Able to communicate complex modelling topics clearly
  • Experience working with data and tools such as SQL, SAS, or Python
