Real Estate Credit Analyst | SEB, Stockholm

We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join the Industry & Corporate Analysis (I&CA) Real Estate team in Stockholm. I&CA consists of corporate and industry specialists within the Corporate & Investment Banking division. We are responsible for providing SEB’s global business and credit decision-makers with in-depth, independent analyses of corporate counterparties, industries, and transactions.

About the role:

In this role, you will be part of a cross-border team covering a wide range of corporate clients and sectors, with your primary focus on real estate and residential development counterparties. As an analyst, you will prepare and present your analyses and recommendations to various decision-making authorities within the bank, providing a thorough understanding of the customer’s business and financial risk profile, as well as transaction-related risks. Staying on top of economic, business, and market developments relevant to our exposure will therefore be an essential part of your job. Communication and cooperation with clients, Client Executives, and Credits will also be integral to the business and credit assessment process.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

• a university degree, preferably with a numerical focus
• some 3–5 years of relevant analytical experience, including analysis of real estate corporates or corporates in other sectors
• meaningful knowledge of, or experience in, real estate or residential development
• a combination of accounting, analytical, modelling, communication, and presentation skills
• the ability to model corporate financials, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow
• proficiency in English and Swedish
• an ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
