Regulatory Specialist

We are looking for a Regulatory Specialist with experience in the financial sector to strengthen our team and help us navigate a dynamic regulatory landscape.

As a Regulatory Specialist, you will play a key role in analysing and interpreting new regulations, legislation, and guidelines that impact our business. Reporting directly to the Head of Governance, you will be a key part of our growing Governance team, which ensures that we maintain strong internal controls, effective process management, and compliance with both internal policies and external regulations.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Monitor, analyse and interpret Nordic and international regulations affecting the financial sector.
• Staying up to date on and interpreting changes in regulations and legislation that impact our business.
• Developing and implementing policies to support compliance and strong risk management practices.

What we’re looking for

We believe you are an analytical and communicative legal professional with experience in managing regulatory matters within the financial sector. You excel at interpreting complex regulations and translating them into strategic policies and actionable guidelines.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:

• A degree in law (Jur. Kand or equivalent) with an interest in financial regulations and legislation.
• At least 5-10 years of experience working in regulatory/legal roles within the financial sector.
• In-depth knowledge of Nordic financial regulations and an understanding of international standards.
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

On a personal level, you are:

• Self-driven and has a can-do mentality.
• Enjoy collaborative and cross-functional teamwork.
• Detailed oriented and with strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to prioritize and adapt to change.
• Curios in technology.
