AOUT THE ROLE

As a Software Release Manager & Scrum Master, you will combine leadership, project management, and technical expertise to oversee the release management lifecycle and champion Agile practices. You will also ensure that all software releases comply with trade and security regulations, working closely with expert and cross-functional teams to meet both technical and legal requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY: 

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate software releases, ensuring timely and smooth delivery.
• Manage and mitigate risks and issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and development teams to ensure correct functionality and software content is included in the expected releases to keep the entire release train synchronized.
• Ensure releases comply with internal security policies and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
• Ensure all software releases meet necessary trade compliance regulations, including export controls and other international standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of software licensing and trade regulations, working closely with legal and compliance teams.

• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile practices and principles to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
• Remove roadblocks, facilitate collaboration, and ensure alignment with product goals.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, QA, DevOps, product management, legal, and security.
• Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders on release planning, status, coordination, and compliance matters.
• Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and compliance, ensuring clear communication across all levels.

WHO ARE YOU?

To be successful in this role we believe that you have: 

• 3+ years of experience in a Software Release Manager or Scrum Master role.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Proven track record in managing multiple, complex software releases in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with trade compliance and security compliance in the context of software releases.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate technical, compliance, and security challenges.

Scope: Fulltime, possible to remote 1 day/week
