We are looking for an ambitious individual with excellent interpersonal skills, client-driven mindset, and with a strong understanding of the post trade industry to join our team as a Sales Manager, Investor Services Institutions. The role is based in our office at Kungsträdgårdsgatan in Stockholm and reports to Head of Sales, Investor Services Institutions.
About the role:
Investor Services Institutions Sales team collaborates with Nordic Financial Institutions like Asset Managers, Asset Owners, Pension-and Insurance companies, Banks, Hedge Funds and Professional Family Offices. The team is responsible for promoting SEB’s post trade products such as Global Custody, Depositary Services, Portfolio Solutions and Derivatives Clearing, but increasingly also focus on technology in post trade, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Alternatives. The team works closely with Client Executives, product managers and client service- and support teams.
In this role, you will be responsible for sales activities and creating and maintaining long-term post trade product relationship with a geographical portfolio of Swedish Financial Institutions. You will manage the sales strategy and work closely with our Coverage- and product organization to strategically plan your approach to clients and prospects in your portfolio.
As part of your role, you’ll drive prospecting efforts, manage Request for Proposals (RfPs), and manage client negotiations. Your responsibilities will encompass client pricing and income generation to portfolio profitability. Additionally, you’ll take charge of orchestrating post trade relationships with clients, ensuring their needs align with SEB’s delivery process. Your day-to-day tasks will involve representing and advocating for client requirements within SEB and our markets.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
• An academic degree in Finance and/or Business
• Strong product skills from one or more of the post-trade services
• Experience of client interaction, with a background in sales, advisory, or servicing roles
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, and are comfortable working both in teams and independently
• Fluent written and spoken skills in English and Swedish/Scandinavian
