About the role
As a Cloud Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping our regulatory and trading technology landscape. Collaborating within a cross-functional team, you’ll engage in the full development lifecycle—from gathering requirements to deployment and stakeholder collaboration. In this position, you will:
-Design, develop, and maintain a cutting-edge data warehouse on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
-Build and optimize efficient data pipelines that seamlessly integrate with trading systems.
-Partner with stakeholders to deliver business-critical data solutions with agility and precision.
-Elevate the team’s expertise through code reviews, coaching, and active participation in technical decisions.
-Contribute to knowledge sharing through pair-programming, mob-programming, demos, and discussions.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have
We’re seeking a curious and driven individual with a strong technical background and a passion for creating value through data. You should have:
• Expertise in data integration, data modeling, and building data pipelines in the cloud.
• Proficiency in SQL and programming (preferably Python).
• Experience with version control (Git) and Agile development methodologies.
• A focus on testing and test automation.
Bonus points if you have
• Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
• Dataform/dbt, Airflow, Terraform.
• Monitoring and alerting for Data Warehouses.
• Data management or data mesh principles.
