About the role 

ABC Labs is now focusing on transforming the substance abuse screening industry by introducing a comprehensive solution designed specifically for European workplaces, with the ambition to redefine standards and practices in the field. More specifically, they believe the end-to-end chain of substance abuse testing should be streamlined with their integrated sampling, lab, and result evaluation services.

They are seeking a Senior Developer with some type of fullstack experience. You will play a crucial role in guiding the tech team through both strategic and detailed decisions and will influence everything from authentication methods to data modeling and technology selection. Your expertise will be essential in collaboratively crafting the architecture of ABC Labs' software. As a key contributor, you will work closely with the team to develop their products, using your experience to help make sound technical decisions. In this role, it is also essential to incorporate testing throughout the development process, including unit and integration testing, and to advocate for automated testing to ensure software reliability.

Qualifications

• Have 5+ years experience with TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
• Have experience in both frontend and backend.
• Have experience with one or several areas of our tech stack: NodeJS, NestJS, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and/or React.
• Prefer simplicity in technology choices, believing that straightforward solutions often outperform complex ones.
  

Preferred qualificiations

• Is curious and has an interest in working with LLM
• Have a good understanding of the benefits and limitations associated with event-sourced data structures and event-driven application development, with bonus points for hands-on experience
• Have worked in regulated domains before
• Have worked in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment before
• Have worked in a microservice infrastructure orchestrated by a tool such as Kubernetes
• Have been exposed to the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) structure before

Start: According to agreement, taking into account notice periods.
Scope: 100%
Location: Forskaren, Hagastaden/Torsplan, Stockholm with the possibility to work hybrid a few days a week.
