The FICC business area provides top ranked analysis, advisory, execution and trading, structured around the asset classes: foreign exchange, fixed income and commodities.
We are looking for a Senior XVA Trader to join SEB’s XVA desk. The position is intended for either Stockholm or Copenhagen.
The XVA desk, located within the FICC front office risk management team, is responsible for the pricing and risk management of counterparty, funding and collateral risks related to derivatives across products. The team is also responsible for broader Capital and Balance sheet optimization for FICC.
About the role:
• Price XVAs daily with a special focus on large / complex trades, working closely with the Sales teams.
• Improve pricing and hedging strategies and execute hedge transactions
• Ensure that PL and risks are understood and managed within limit framework.
• Drive or participate in projects related to optimization of financial resources for FICC, together with the business stakeholders.
• Drive or participate in the development and improvement of the XVA desk set-up, together with Quants and Technology teams.
• Interact daily with sales and traders
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
• A few years of experience of XVA trading / derivatives trading or similar role
• A MSc degree or equivalent in a quantitative field
• Solid quantitative skills (option pricing)
• High integrity and a fact-based approach to decision making
• A collaborative mindset
• Ability to take decisions and deliver in a dynamic environment
• Good communication skills
